Anu Chadha also qualified from Guy’s Hospital. She was educated at Kendrick school in Reading, and now lives in Langley.
After qualifying in London, she initially worked as a house officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial, restorative and Paediatric departments at Cardiff Dental Hospital. She then completed her vocational training and worked for the community dental service and thereafter in general practice.
In 2004 Anu completed the MDFS Diploma and subsequently was appointed as a member of the Royal College of surgeons in Edinburgh.
Later that year, she began the one year full-time masters programme in Prosthetic Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. She passed this with distinction and now teaches Prosthetics to dental undergraduate students at the London Hospital, Whitechapel.
Anu is also an examiner for the International Qualifying Exam. This is the qualification which is required to be taken by all overseas students who wish to practice dentistry in the UK.
Anu began working at Church Lane Dental Practice in 2005. She currently works on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Her particular interests are in dentures and treating anxious/elderly patients as well as children.
She is a member of the BDA and the British Society for the study of Prosthetic Dentistry. She regularly attends lectures, dental conferences and meetings in order to keep up with the newer aspects of dentistry.
